An Angolan audit delegation, headed by Sr. Julião António, President of Tribunal de Contas de Angola, paid a goodwill visit to CNAO from June 10 to 18. Mr. Liu Jiayi, CNAO’s Auditor General, met with the ten-member delegation, with Dr. Dong Dasheng, CNAO’s Deputy Auditor General, and officials from Department of International Cooperation and Auditor’s Training Center joining the meeting.
Mr. Liu Jiayi spoke highly of the friendly exchanges between China and Angola and the two SAIs of the two countries, and highly appreciated the mutual understanding and support in the international audit affairs. He expected that the CNAO and Tribunal de Contas de Angola continue to strengthen cooperation and to share more audit experience.
Sr. António thanked CNAO for the invitation and warm reception, and proposed that the two SAIs enhance audit capacity and promote the development of auditing through personnel exchanges. He also invited Mr. Liu to visit Angola at a time of convenience.
