Ms. Li Jianxin, Special Representative of Mr. Liu Jiayi, Chairman of the INTOSAI Governing Board and Auditor General of the National Audit Office of China, attended the First International Seminar on Audit, Control and Supervision hosted by the Comptroller General of the Republic of Cuba in Havana from June 17 to 19, and made a keynote speech at the opening ceremony.
In her speech “Bring the Role of Supreme Audit Institutions in Promoting Effective Governance and Accountability into Full Play”, Ms. Li Jianxin introduced the latest development of China auditing, promoted the proposal in INTOSAI’s Beijing Declaration on the role of national audit in improving national governance, and depicted a blueprint of the future of INTOSAI.
The seminar was part of the celebration of the 5th anniversary of Comptroller General of the Republic of Cuba. More than 180 participants from 11 countries participated in the seminar
