An Afghan delegation led by Dr. Mohammad Sharif Sharifi, Auditor General of the Supreme Audit Office of Afghanistan, visited CNAO from March 24 to April 1, at the invitation of Mr. Liu Jiayi, Auditor General of CNAO.
On April 25, Mr. Liu Jiayi met with the delegation at the CNAO headquarters in Beijing. Mr. Liu extended warm welcome to the delegation and highly valued the traditional friendship between China and Afghanistan and the sound relations between the two SAIs. In the next day’s work meeting, Dr. Sun Baohou, Deputy Auditor General of CNAO, made a presentation about the basic information of auditing in China, CNAO’s human resources management and anti-corruption efforts made by CNAO in recent years.
The two sides also exchanged views on the future cooperation of knowledge sharing and capacity building as well as other issues of common interest.
The Afghan delegation later visited the Nanjing Audit University and Shaanxi Provincial Audit Office.
